Summaries can be wrong
Key findings, trial readouts, community names and paper classifications are produced by a language model. Each sentence is checked against the abstracts it cites, but the model can still misread a paper, and the check reads abstracts only, not full texts. Read the cited paper before relying on a claim; every one links to PubMed.
Counts and trends have limits
- The site covers the papers its topic searches select, not all of PubMed.
- A paper counts for a keyword or area when its title, abstract, keywords or MeSH headings match; matching by terms misses some papers and catches others.
- Recent papers may not be indexed yet, so the latest weeks shift as PubMed catches up.
- A change in how papers were collected (in bulk until March 2026, daily since April 2026) can show in a trend without any change in the research.
